The Ballast Weight is recommended for customers with light tongue weight trailers. Applies more downward force to drive wheels and provides more traction. It also provides better machine stability with the light tongue to trailer weight ratio trailers. (Note: If your company has multiple trailers with unknown tongue weights, we highly recommend purchasing the Ballast Weight option.)
